It is precisely one in the morning and I am doing every college student's least favorite thing, course planning. However, my planning is not just covering the upcoming spring semester. I am literally planning every course I have to take for the next two and a half years. This is one of the many tasks that come with the joy of double majoring. Here's a quick look at what it's like to take on such an academic behemoth.
1. Everyone asks why didn't you just make one of your majors a minor.
2. To which you then eloquently respond as to why that would be preposterous to an overachiever such as yourself.
3. You have already confronted the harsh reality that summer classes are a must.
4. Independent Studies are the best thing since sliced bread.
5. The two majors are not compatible in the least bit.
6. You laugh furiously when other people complain about how many credits they are taking.
7. You have two advisers.
8. The courses for each major are bound to conflict timewise.
9. You have asked yourself more than once "Is it really worth it?"
10. But then are immediately reminded of your love for both areas of sutdy and can genuinely answer with a resounding "YES"
