Denison University –– the place where many of us call home –– has many elements that make it an amazing campus. Unfortunately, some of these things aren't on the top of our favorite list, but it makes Denison simply Denison. Here are some of everyday events that occur in a Denisonian's life.

1. You have to walk up that hill almost everyday because of your classes.

2. Walking from your dorm room to the Mitchell Center is your workout.

3. Slayter is the only place on campus to get coffee.

4. You're walking to class with a deer 3 feet away and it's staring you down.

5. You troop it to Huffman everyday (even if you live in Curtis West).

6. The Nest helps your late night cravings.

7. Whit's is lit.

8. Counting down until 1 p.m. to use your swipe at Slayter.

9. Classes never being cancel during a snow blizzard.

10. Relying on campus safety to give you rides, which are now discontinued.

11. What does "The Big Red" even mean? What about the buzzards?
