We've all been stuck in sticky situations where we've been forced to choose between lying or telling the truth. Whether your friend wants to know how you feel about her new boyfriend or your parents want to know why your grades aren't too hot, we've all been there. And sometimes, it's best to tell just a little white lie.

1. "Sorry I'm late, I got stuck in traffic."

In other words, you hit the snooze button one too many times. Hey, we all need our beauty sleep, and that 7:45 a.m. gets right in the way.

2. "You look awesome!"

Of course your friend looks good, they're beautiful and amazing, but you don't always understand their outfit choices, nor do they get yours. To spare feelings, sometime it's best to just keep your thoughts all wrapped up.

3. "I don't feel so good, I don't think I can make it."

Yes, you have had these plans made for a long time, but you would rather be curled up on the couch eating leftover Easter candy and watching every show on Netflix.

4. "Don't worry, I already deleted the picture."

No, you're saving that embarrassing Snap to send in the group chat later, or even to eventually share on Instagram. Either way, you're keeping that picture.

5. "I can't, I'm on a diet"

We have all told ourselves this lie. In reality, though, you're probably going to eat healthy for the majority of the day, you may even go to the gym. But when you go home, you're going to eat whatever is left in your kitchen.

6. "Whatever, I'll just study later."

Of course you'll study, your grades are important. But it will just be later; in fact, it will be three hours and five episodes of "The Office" later. Or more, because when it comes to Netflix, the limit does not exist.

7. "Don't worry, I'm on the way!"

Actually, you're still doing your hair, and you haven't even finished your makeup yet, but hey, you want to look and feel great. Plus, you can always just pull the traffic card again.

8. "I'm so sorry, I've been really busy lately."

In other words, you've been binge watching Netflix and catching up on some much-needed sleep. Sometimes being social is hard, and sometimes, you're just exhausted, and that's okay.

9. "Don't worry, I'm not mad at you."

But you will ignore that person for the next few days, and even complain about them to your mom. Sure, you'll get over it, but sometimes, you need some space.

10. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see your text."

You saw it, but you didn't want to respond to your coworker or boss just yet. Or at all. Don't worry, you can always say your cell phone was on silent.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
