I was thinking about it this on my ride home tonight. How in the world are we possibly supposed to let something go by putting out the specific intention of letting it go? If that's the visual that you're choosing to focus on then you don't have space for whatever is supposed to take its place. Continuing to think about something is not the way to forgetting it.
So let's let go by holding onto other things. Other people, other places, other opportunities, energies, foods, views, feelings, etc. There's so much more out there. And it's very cliché, but you must go find it. Although easy to say and harder to do, it happens little by little. A slow transition. It's different for everyone but I believe that the sentiment reigns appropriate.
