To My Sisters,
Even though we have only been together for a short two months, I already love each and every one of you so much. I can see the love in your heart and growth in your spirits. I feel this very special bond with each and every one of you. We have already connected so much, I don't know how I went through life without you. You are all so unique in your own way and I admire your personalities. In this short time, I have come to appreciate the bond of sisterhood.
I know this is all fairly new to us and we are all in the same boat. I promise to be there for you when you feel alone in a room full of people. I promise to hold you when you're sad and I promise to pick you up when you fall down. I promise to be the best me each and everyday to inspire you to be the best you. I promise to share the unforgettable times and I promise to make you laugh. I promise to love you unconditionally through whatever you may be going through. I promise I will try my best to understand you. I promise to hold your hand through the scary times. I promise to be the sister you need me to be.
We share the same sacred secrets and we will always hold those close to our hearts. I see each and every one of you have the same love, light, and heart that I do, because we share the same ideas and standards. Joining this chapter, was one of the best gifts God could have given me, because I received 160 sisters that will support me through my journey. I truly believe there is a reason we met each other and we were put together.
As time passes, I know we will get closer. We will experience this journey together through the successes and hardships. I cannot express to you enough how much each and every one of you have touched my heart in a different way, because we are all different, but at the end of the day we have that one thing in common; that we are Sigma Kappa.
This chapter is a blessing and I cannot wait to go through the next four years with each of you by my side. I want to say thank you for accepting me for me, and showing me who you are.
Through the good and the bad, we will make it. I understand life gets hard and sometimes you want to be alone, but if there is something you can take from this, is that even at the darkest times, I will not let you walk through alone. I cannot wait to see each of you grow and blossom into the young adults you are. Through this journey, which is a lifetime experience, we will find our true selves and make everlasting friendships.
Thank you Sigma Kappa sisters for this journey we are about to experience.
