Dear Those Of Which This Letter Is Intended For,
The amount of words that it would take to ever fully express my gratitude to you is innumerable. There's been no shortage of changes, mistakes, major ups and downs, etc... in the many years or months (that you easily make feel like years) that you've stuck with me. In each and every event that has transpired, you've been there to help me through it. Whether through encouraging words or gestures, your continuous enthusiastic support has brightened my outlook of the world and lessened my occasional impulsivity when it comes to decision making.
With each new problem that arose, you were there to help process the situation with me. Whether the situation at hand was test results, school drama, character deaths, puberty, or close familial loss - you always helped me keep my head on straight; challenging me to look at everything in as much detail as possible. Sometimes, while you may not have been the one to have instigated the choices to act, see, or do things differently, your general aptitude for helpfulness lent many an inspiration to do better, do more - my way.
So thank you. Thank you for being you. For helping me along so many journeys. For continuously restoring my faith in humanity. I can only hope that my attempt to do the same for you can level up to the amount of appreciation I hold.
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. - John F. Kennedy
Sincerely,
A humbled human
