To the most influential people in my life,
Several times throughout my long, but seemingly short, eighteen years of my life I can honestly say that at times, I have needed extra guidance and direction in my life. You are the people I have been lucky enough to be able to turn to when I need to be guided in this crazy but exciting world, and for that I am forever grateful.
Thank you to my parents who constantly support and care for me, even when I don't deserve it, you have taught me the importance of loving myself and others. To my grandparents who have showed me the meaning of love and family, you are the reason I have come to value family above everything else. My older brother, you are someone who I whole heartedly look up to because you have easily been the best role model that I could ever ask for. To my selfless and caring sister-in-law, you have inspired me to thrive to be the best version of myself each and every day.
Life is a constant flow of people who come in and out of your life whether you want them to or not, and I have lost and gained several meaningful people in the last eighteen years. All of my ex friends and new friends, thank you for helping me develop into the type of friend that I am today. To my best friends, thank you for showing me how truly important friendship is and how to be there for others. Thank you to all the boys who have shown me how I deserve, and don't deserve, to be treated. To the coach who was a major part of my life for several years, thank you for instilling in me the desire to be the absolute best both on and off the field.
Everyday is a new opportunity for someone to walk in, out, or back into your life, which is both extremely scary and exciting. Have your mind, and your arms (for hugs, of course), ready for these people and understand that these people are in, or were in, your life for a reason. Without these people, I wouldn't even be half the person that I am today.
Thank you for being the most influential people in my life.
Love,
Me
