A Letter To The Kids I Get To Nanny
Caroline Williams

To the kids I am so lucky to get to nanny,

I know our time together won’t last forever, which makes even the hard days a little easier. I am incredibly blessed that God allowed our lives to intertwine, and I’ll hold your sweet love in my heart forever. Mornings where I walk through the door and you come running, calling my name, will be a memory I keep in my heart forever. Although I know I am nowhere near ready to have children, I am so thankful I get to have an impact in your life.

While I have taught you many things, like how to play Red Light Green Light, or which is your left and right, you have taught me so much more. Without you, I would have never learned about every dinosaur that walked the planet, I wouldn’t be able to recite every word to "Rio 2." But more importantly, I have been reminded of how having a kind heart is an amazing quality, and being able to forgive someone no matter how many times they hit you or are mean to you is important. I am continually impressed with the creativity and imagination that always shines through when we play games; if it’s Transformers or hide-and-seek, there is always something new and exciting that you come up with.

Thank you for loving me so much even though I make you say please, or don't let you hit your brother. Thank you for letting me be a part of your family. Thank you for always giving me a big squeeze hug, Eskimo kisses and always letting me tickle you. Thank you for allowing me to learn and love in ways i never have before.

As the summer comes to an end, I know that getting to see you so often is also coming to an end. It is so bittersweet, I am already looking forward to getting to come play again next summer. I can only imagine how much you will change and grow over these next few months.

“I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck,”

Your forever grateful nanny

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
