When high school first begins and you are a freshman, finishing your senior year can seem so far away and like it'll never happen. The same thing happens when you enter college. You think the next four years are going to take centuries, but in reality, it comes and goes in the blink of an eye. Whether you are graduating from high school or from college in a few short weeks, this letter is for you.
Congratulations!
You did it!! School can be such a trying time. It's overwhelming, tiresome, and plain annoying at some points. However, you persevered and pushed through the exams, essays, difficult teachers, and ended up on top. You survived some of the most time demanding and difficult days. Give yourself a pat on the back and congratulate yourself as you prepare to walk across the stage in a handful of days.
Relax! Just Breathe!
While graduation is an exciting time, it can also be very frightening and anxiety-filled.
"What am I going to do now?" "What if I trip across the stage?" "What if I don't get the job I want?" "Which major am I supposed to choose?"
These are all questions that may be running through your mind as graduation approaches and they are completely normal. Just remember to take a step back, think positively, take it one day at a time, and just breathe. Everything will fall into place the way it's supposed to.
Never stop chasing your dreams!
Graduating senior, the world is yours. Now is the time to really do some soul searching and figure out what it is you want from life. You have free reign to chase whatever dreams and goals you have. Just remember to set them high. While you want your goals to be realistic, you also want them to be challenging. Never settle for ordinary and mediocre. You deserve the best - go out and chase it!
Congratulations, Class of 2016!
Jeremiah 29:11 — "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you; plans to give you hope and a good future."
