An Open Letter To The Friend That Became Family
Seth Doyle

Somedays you just need to acknowledge how amazing your best friend really is and let them know what they mean to you, even when words don't seem sufficient.

Best friend,

You are such an important person in my life, and it is hard to even begin to describe how much your friendship means to me. You have seen me at my worst and you know me better than just about anyone. You've been there through my breakdowns, and you put up with my crazy. You can tell when something is off, sometimes even when we are miles apart. You've been my therapist from time to time, and you are the person I turn to when something happens, whether it is good or bad. You know my secrets and I trust you, even though that's one of the hardest things for me to do sometimes.

We have made so many memories throughout the last two years and I look forward to many more. I am always here for you, and I will continue to listen to your crazy stories. I love being the person who listens and helps you overthink and play out outrageous scenarios that most likely won't happen. We can keep sitting in your car for hours eating pizza and talking about our future, boys, and Jesus because those are some of the moments I treasure the most. The road trips and jam sessions are also pretty awesome.

It is going to be rough doing everyday life without you, but I know you will not be that friend that disappears out of my life never to be heard from again. You aren't just my best friend, you have become family. You are like a sister to me.

We get mad at each other from time to time, but we both know that no matter what, we never stop caring about each other. You make me a better person and you keep me in check. I love you for caring so much, it is one of the best qualities about you. You have a beautiful soul and so much compassion and love for those who are lucky enough to know you. I am so thankful that you entered my life, and I can't imagine what it would be like without you in it.

This may have been a bit cliche, but I mean every word. Thanks again for putting up with my madness and loving me through my flaws. Thank you for reminding me of my worth and just being there when I need you. I hope I have done the same for you. Thank you for just being you. You are the best, and I hope that you never forget that you are loved.

Your grateful friend.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.

Being a music major is not all kicks and giggles. In fact, there are days when I question my sanity and doubt myself as a musician. I know I am not the only one going through the struggle, and so here are 13 GIFs that I know my fellow music majors can relate to...
