Hello to our person in Heaven,

It only takes one sentence and three words to describe how we feel — we miss you.

A lot has changed since you have left. We can honestly say that everyone misses you. Things have changed so much. Since you have been gone, people have been born, children have graduated and moved away, people have gotten married and, you know this one, people have joined your home in Heaven. We know that you will take care of the ones who have joined you.

Sometimes we wonder why God called you home. We are not sure if time heals all wounds. Life has definitely gone on but in a different way. The memories still linger and we can't help that we still have a little trouble coping that you are gone. You were more than loved and you still are. We cherished you and we are extremely grateful for the time we did get to spend with you. Although, we wish we cherished the time spent with you a little more.

We are so thankful that you were a part of our life, even though it seems you are not a part of ours. Of course, we know that in some form, you are still with us every step of our journey of life but it is just a little unfair that we cannot hear your voice and opinions on the things that matter most. We would like to thank you for many things, like always making us laugh because being unhappy was never acceptable, we want to thank you for your endless amount of honesty and trustworthiness you gave everyone, and you always knew what to say.

We cannot help but have mixed emotions when we see pictures of you. We are extremely grateful for these memories but disappointed we could not make more. We will never be whole again without you, we will never be the same, and we would never want to be the same. You were such a hard worker and for this, you are our role model. You worked hard to make everyone happy but you never sought to lose the things that made you happy. I guess because making others happy made you happy as well. We hope that one day we can be all that you were. We wish to have a heart as big as yours. We wish to have no fears like you did. You made everything seem so easy.

We are all doing our best to make you proud and be like the way you taught us to be. I hope Heaven is everything you imagined plus more. It is your paradise forever. We strive to be like you or at least, half the person you are. We hope you are having fun with the family and friends who have passed before you and help guide the ones who have recently joined you.
