An Open Letter To My Older Sister

An Open letter to my older sister,

If you have an older sister, consider yourself the luckiest person in the world. Having a sister to look up to is something to be extremely thankful for.

So big sis, if I don’t say it enough, thank you, thank you, thank you for...

Your closet:

I mean, this goes both ways, am I right? Thanks for always sharing, well maybe not sharing... but I stole it anyway. You are one stylish girl.

Playing mom:

There’s something so different about getting yelled at by your sister rather than your mom. It’s as if you disappointed a best friend. Thanks for always playing the mom role when necessary… and sometimes, it’s not necessary at all.

Always supporting me:

You’re the open ear. You’re the one person I can tell anything and everything to and you won’t judge. Well, maybe sometimes you’ll give me your cold hearted opinion, but sometimes that’s exactly what I need to hear.

Sharing your friends with me:

Your friends are my friends, and my friends are yours. I’m constantly going to your friends for advice and my friends know that they can always go to you. I know that your best friends are always there for me no matter what.

Boy Advice:

I don't think anyone knows me better than you do. You truly know what's good and bad for me. You know who has my heart, and you protect me from getting hurt, always. Whether it's a question on what to wear on a date or whether or not I should dump a guy, you always bring great advice to the table.

For being my role model:

This literally needs no explanation. I’ve been able to look up to you since day one. I will never stop admiring everything that you do.

I’m lucky to have a big sister, and even luckier to have one that I’m so close to. I couldn’t imagine my life without you in it, and I wouldn’t want to. Thanks for not only being my sister, but also being the greatest best friend I could ever ask for. I'm so proud to call you my big sis.

Much Love,

Your little sister

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
