Dear Mom,
As you walk down the aisle for a second time remember who you have standing next to you.
This time is different. This time you found who you're meant to be with for the second part of your life. Make this one count.
No one is guaranteed to find love in their lifetime let alone to find it a second time. You were able to do the rare and almost impossible by finding a perfect love the second time around. But mom you always seem to do the impossible. You brought me together with some of my new best friends and I can't thank you enough for that.
You've had a hard time getting to where you are now. Those two years were hell for our whole family but we made it and look where you're standing now. You're standing next to the man who you love and you have your children with you as well. You have it all.
You have always been my best friend and the person I go to when I need someone to talk to. You kept me sane when I broke up with my boyfriends, when my beloved hedgehog passed away and when I was having another anxiety episode. I don't know where I would be if i didn't have a mom like you.
Roger has made you so happy and I have to thank him for that. You smile, laugh and sing songs that you haven’t in so long. Roger, you saved my mom and I cannot thank you enough for that.
I wish you both endless years of happiness and I hope you both live for the now and not worry about the past.
I love you forever and always
