Someone said that, “Of all the gifts that life has to offer, a loving mother is the greatest of them all.” – It would take a million papers to write down how grateful I am for having someone like you in my life. Even though you had always seen my flaws and that I always push you to your limit, you still choose to love me unconditionally. Here are seven reasons that sums up on why I am thankful for having a loving mother like you.

Thank you:

1. For Taking Care of Me

I was lost how many times throughout my journey and you were still there willing to guide me. I fell down how many times but you were still there waiting to catch me. You were there for me through my tough days and even though you are having your own problems, you always choose to help me first before yours. I failed multiple times in my life, however, you were still there for me filling my life with inspirations and motivations to stand up and be brave.

2. For Understanding Me

Even though I always push you to the limit especially when I was younger, you never got tired of giving me your patience over and over again. You never gave up on me despite of the things we have been through in our lives. You never left me when I thought you were disappointed of me failing to follow directions in life.

3. For Sacrificing Everything For Me

You were always ready to move places just to give me the best life possible, such as leaving your country where you grew up just to bring me to place where there are many opportunities waiting for me. You were always ready what to do no matter how busy you are. You were still there beside me when there are times that I need you the most.

4. For Supporting Me

You considered my dreams as your dreams as well. You encouraged me so well to pursue my goals with passion in life. You were successful in inspiring me to do what I wanted to do and that you were always there to check if I am doing the right thing.

5. For Accepting Me The Way I Am

I may be annoying most of the time, but you still accepted me the way I am. You still choose to love me despite of how much you have to deal with me.

6. For Raising Me Well

I grew up learning too much about myself because you taught me how to accept the reality of life. You helped me how to deal with my emotions. You taught me how to be mature. And you kept on reminding me not to tolerate bad things in life.

7. For Giving All Your Best

In this world, mothers are always the best. You always think about your children first before yourself. And so you are the best gift that God has given to me. You are worth more than a jewel and I am thankful enough for having someone like you in my life.

Mom, I love you so much.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
