To my suitemates,

First, I want to say thank you. With us all living together as complete strangers that first few weeks of school, thank you for putting up with me and accepting me for the obnoxiously loud and crazy person I am. I honestly didn't think we were going to become friends, but looking back at this semester...we've certainly been through a lot.

From the 3am fire alarms to the late night pizza deliveries, you guys have been with me through it all. During our 5 months together, I have learned so much. Movies in the living room, late night pizza and cookies, and endless hours of laughter are an absolute must in 303. Even though we may disagree about the dishes, you guys have become my new family.

I also can't believe that we are finished with our first semester of college...but I know wholeheartedly that I would not have made it without all of you. Thank you for pushing me to study, for doing my laundry, and making my bad days ten times better. I can't put into words how much your friendships mean to me. Thanks for being there when I needed to cry after failing my first test, making my coffee in the morning, and always grabbing food with me. You guys bring so much joy to my day and I know I'm coming back after class to 5 friends who have become more like family.

Looking into our next semester, I can't wait to see where our journey takes us. I'm looking forward to all the new memories and adventures that await. *Lets hope there aren't too many more fire drills. I miss you all so very much and I can't believe I'm going a whole month without seeing you all. I wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Love,

Rachel

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

The 5 Painfully True Stages Of Camping Out At The Library

For those long nights that turn into mornings when the struggle is real.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

The 14 Stages Of The Last Week Of Class

You need sleep, but also have 13 things due in the span of 4 days.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
