A Letter To My Best Friend In Class

Dear Nora,

Hey, girl! I hope that this article makes you smile. I am so happy we are friends (now I have the show Friends in mind!)

You are an incredible person; I don't know how I shall fit your awesomeness into one article, but I will try. Here goes:

You are always so kind and considerate. You ask me if I'm okay and you aren't one of those people who don't really care. You go out of your way to make sure that I'm okay, and I really appreciate that. Nora, I remember even before college, you invited me over to your house and we watched Law and Order SVU and Friends! I had a blast that day and I knew that we were going to be good friends! Now, I know that even more.

I remember also being nervous about if I would make any friends at college. I had a tough experience in high school with friendships, and so I was worried. Then, all my worries vanished when I met you and saw how kind you were to me. You are so including and caring!

I love all of the memories we have shared! From playing trivia with Ryan and ranting about college life to chatting online to sending bitmojis to each other! You know what will brighten my day.

When you gave me that shell the other day, that totally brightened my entire day! I'm so blessed to be friends with you, Nora! I can't wait for our many more memories that we make!

Nora, thanks for always being there for me. I will always be there for you too. "I'll be there for you!" I love you girl. Keep being your amazing, compassionate, loyal, and incredible self! Never lose your ability to make people smile or turning a hard situation around. I know you won't! Thanks for accepting me for who I am, and showing me that life is always more fun with inspirational quotes. You seriously inspire me with your positivity and kindness. If you ever need anything, please let me know!

Love you BFF!

Friends forever,

Grace

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...
