Some people say that high school will be the best time of your life, while others will tell you that they do not miss high school and did not like it at all. When my senior year came around, I thought that it was going to be the slowest year of high school yet. I was totally wrong! I also couldn't wait until graduation day, but now looking back I wish I could've slowed time down some. This letter is to all high school seniors out there.

Dear High School Seniors,

You are more than halfway done with your senior year of high school! In just a few short months, you will be walking across a stage and receiving your diploma. That may be a scary thought so some, while others cannot wait until that day gets here. As excited as you may be knowing that you are almost done with high school, take time and enjoy the last few months of school. Sure you may want to get away from your teachers and friends that you have had for years and experience the "real world", but once you are out of high school chances are you will probably miss some parts of it. I am writing this letter to tell you that college is not going to be like what everyone says it is. Enjoy every day that you have left of high school because you will find yourself looking back one day in college and wishing that you could go back to some of the memories you made in high school.

Don't get me wrong, college is great and you have so much more freedom, but having guidance from teachers and parents will be something that you miss quite often. As much as you may want to get away from your old friends be sure to spend as much time with them as possible. Once you graduate, they will become a part of your past. You may have a few that you keep in touch with while you are in college, but you will be so busy making new friends that you will more than likely forget about all of your old ones. The friends you have in high school might seem like they are your best friends, but once you get in college, you will find yourself making so many new friends and actually finding a friend who deserves the title "best friend".

Get involved in as many things you can your senior year. Be social and go to the sporting events, the dances, the pep rallies, and other school functions because trust me, that will be one of the things that you miss most once you are in college. Take everything day by day and enjoy the time you have left in high school because once you graduate and move on to college, you will have to start everything from new. College will be a whole new experience for you and may be a lot of fun, but there will be times when you start to think back to your high school years and wish you could relive your senior year just one more time. I know I do! For those of you in the Class of 2017, make the last few months of your senior year the best yet! The friends may fade, but the memories won't. I wish you all the best in these last few months.

Sincerely,

A college freshman.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
