Dear Lord,

I am very grateful to you for seeing me through my first semester of college. It is yet another moment for me to depart to school for another four months. I hope that Mary, the Angels, and the other biblical personnels mentioned in the Bible are as fit as a fiddle and the Angels are continuously singing praises to you. Father, please grant me travelling mercies back to school. Lord, I honestly am not in the mood for school. I feel like this vacation went by really quick. Although I am excited to meet my friends and learn new information with the classes I will be taking, I feel like am going back to being stressed. But Lord, that is the reason why I am writing you this letter.

I want you Lord to guide every step I take as I embark on this journey away from home. Please Lord, I don't want to catch a cold when I go upstate for school due to the extremely cold whether there. Help my friends and family too. Don't let them get sick. I want to come back and see them healthy as always.

God, this upcoming semester, I would like to be really involved in campus activities. I have seen a lot of clubs already advertising pageants, rush events and other big events that would be taking place on and off campus. In addition to this events I would love to be a part of, I would have to fulfill my academic responsibilities. Lord, I want you to help me balance all these activities I am thinking of being a part of with school.

Father, I again want to thank you for last semester and I pray that you help me out this semester.

Your daughter,

Jessica.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
