Dear Family,

I can never thank you enough for all that you have done for me and taught me. Let me just go through the list and tell you why.

To my Older Brother

Thank you for being the one I always look up to. We were a team growing up, and that was the best time ever. Not only did I learn through your mistakes, you also taught me lessons. Although we had so many times that we fought, both physically and verbally, it has been so great. Now we look back on those memories and laugh until we cry, wishing we could go back ro relive them. And so I would like to thank you for being my rolemodel.

To my Younger Sister

Thank you for being a pain in my butt. You may get on my nerves a lot, but we also have fun a lot. I have always strived to be your rolemodel just like our older brother was to me, and hopefully I have succeeded. Now that it is just you, me, and our younger brother living with mom and dad, we do so much together. Whether it's on a trip or vacation, we are usually doing all kinds of activities together. So I would like to thank you for being there all the time, even though you drive me nuts.

To my Younger Brother

Even though we don't havg out much, it's a hoot when we do. When my younger siblings and I get together to talk about the past, it's so fun to here your side because you are the baby. Us? We were never the baby, you have that spot. You are also very well educated on a lot of subjects. I may get annoyed that you are constantly on your phone watching Youtube and stuff, but you must be learning something. With that, I would like to thank you for teaching me sometimes.

To my Mom

First I would like to start with, thank you for still calling the doctor and everything for me. You are an angel. On to a more serious note, I could never ask for a better mom. You cheer me on and brag about me and my siblings so much. It's so awesome to know that through this crazy life, we will at least of one supporter. You have also taught me so many lessons and let me know about your mistakes, so I don't make the same ones. You and dad have ALWAYS been there for us and are always at any kind of dinner, sporting event, band or choir event, bakesale, etc. more than I saw any other parents. So thank you for loving us unconditionally.

To my Dad

I can not so enough about you. You are so wise and have taught me endless lessons. My favorite talks with you are when I am the only one with you. They have really shaped my thoughts now. I also love the ability to have quick comebacks and humor, that really comes in handy. You have taught me things like how to manage money, what kind of men to avoid, how to be independent, and so much more. I couldn't ask for more. Like I mentioned above, you and mom were always and anything that me or my siblings had, and it has taught us that you and mom love us unconditionally. I only hope that if I ever have kids, I can be as good of a parent that you and mom are. So thank you for loving us unconditionally.

I love all of you guys to no end and would never trade you for another family. My siblings and I may fight a lot and we may retaliate a lot, but look where we are now. We are doing just fine. To my family, thank you for being my family.

Love,

Your Daughter or Your Sister

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. You feel like you will have never-ending classwork to catch up on if you miss class, so you end up going sick and then it just takes longer to get better. Being sick in college is really tough and definitely not a fun experience. Here are the 15 stages that everyone ends up going through when they are sick at college.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
