Dear Chick-Fil-A,

When the dining hall and expensive restaurants fail me, you save me. Thank you for being there for me, most of the time. Those Mondays-Saturdays we spend together make me miss you so much on Sundays. I’ve learned not to take you for granted during those days.

You never disappoint me with our breakfast and dinner dates. I know I am making cows everywhere happier when I step foot in your restaurant. You are affordable, delicious, and caring. Not only do you give me a good sandwich but you pair it with crispy fries, so many different sauces to choose from, and happiness. Your Chick-Fil-A sauce beats Zax sauce 10/10 times.

When I’m having a bad day but can’t make it to your restaurant, your social media helps to put a smile on my face. It’s like you get me because we have the same sense of humor.

You always say it’s “your pleasure” but the pleasure is all mine.

Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

5. But when you are, people usually can’t tell.

6. You find other people with RBF’s and have to convince yourself that you don’t look like them.

7. You constantly remind yourself, “At least I’m not a psycho.”

1. If the professor is late by one minute, I'm leaving.

4. I wonder what they're serving at the cafeteria.

7. This is the longest 50 minutes of my life.

8. Maybe if I call mom, she'll give me money.

10. Why am I here? I could be a street performer by now.

11. Oh right, I'm not talented.
