1. I'm so proud of how hardworking you are.

You have proved that if you give it all you've got, you can reach your goals! Spending countless hours in the library, pulling all nighters, and doing everything you can to succeed, has finally reached the end. You are finally reaching your dreams and graduating with an Engineering Degree! I am beyond proud of how hard you have worked and for never giving up. I love you!

2. You inspire me daily.

You've been there for me through all of my ups and downs, which I am beyond greatful for. You've inspired me to never give up when I moved away for a year, you've inspired me to try my hardest in school, and you've inspired me to trust in our Lord's plan. Knowing that you're about to graduate and enter the real world makes me so happy and I am excited to see what all He has to offer.

3. You've shown me that anything is possible.

There has been many times in my life where I felt as if the world was crashing before my eyes, but you have always held my hand and told me that everything will be okay. We have both encouraged each other, throughout our college experience, by studying nonstop and putting in all that we've got. You're are about to walk that stage in less than a month, so I want you to remember everything you've taught me. Anything from here on out is possible, and I will forever walk by your side.

4. You have all of the qualities of a highly successful man, so I have no doubt that your continued hard work and determination will take you far in life.

You are not only the most hardworking man I know, but you are creative, intelligent, and outgoing. There's been many occasions where I needed your creative and Engineering skills to help me with a project or a DIY craft, and you always surprise me. It's amazing how you are capable of fixing or creating literally ANYTHING. I know that because of the person you are, you will go so far in life.

5. I believe in you.

I've watched you struggle, I've watched you learned, and now I get to watch the love of my life reach his goal. If there's ever a time where you find yourself doubting how far you can go, just look back and remember how far you have come. I hope you know that you are capable of anything and I believe in you, in us, and I believe in our love.

6. It is very exciting to see your passion and talent for Engineering and knowing you get to do what you love.

I love the look on your face when you share with me things about physics, the universe, and engineering. I can tell that you are so passionate about what you study and that it means so much to you. I know that once you have a job, you won't have a problem waking up at 8 am or going into work on a Monday because you love what you do! ;)

7. It's so exciting knowing that you and I are beginning a new chapter in our lives together.

We are about to turn the page and start a new chapter in our lives. It's scary, but I came to realize that there's so much more to our story that we have yet to discover! It may be challenging, but no matter what happens, always remember that we are a step closer to our future down the Lord's path.

8. Go forward in life knowing that you are admired and loved for all your hard work and sacrifices that brought you to where you are today.

I have seen how upsetting it was for you having to stay in and study instead of spending a lot of time with family or your friends, but you were determined to reach your dreams. You didn't let anyone distract you and focused on your school. That is something that is very challenging for a senior college student, and I want you to know that you are admired for that. Everyone is so proud of how you've focused on your school, and now you're about to never have to study again! Never feel bad about missing out on things during your college experience, instead be so happy that you're graduating with your dream degree!

9. Be proud of yourself.

Look back on your life and think about all of the challenges you've overcome. Paxton, you are such a strong man and you have overcome anything that comes your way. You have worked harder than anyone I have ever known. Don't wait to be proud of yourself till you've reached your goal, be proud of every step and sacrifice you've taken to reach your goal.

10. You've got this babe!

Now that you're about to start a new journey in life, always know that you are loved, appreciated, and willing to give it your all. I love you and want you to remember to always rely on our Lord, He will take care of you, so don't worry. I am so proud of all that you've accomplished and I look forward to our future. Congratulations love!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
