Hey you,

I love you, but not in a mushy way even though at one point I did. I love you in a sibling way. You have helped me find myself in a way I cannot describe. Through the six years we have been friends you have shown me so much.

You showed me the way a true guy should act. For the most part, you have always treated me like a lady, except when you burp in my face or fart 20 times in the span of an hour. When you do those things you crack me up, even though I pretend to be completely grossed out. You are seriously one of the most authentic people I know.

Thank you for being there even when I was at my lowest of lows. Thank you for being my friend even through the awkward middle school years and listening to all my "problems" through the years. You have helped me through some seriously tough stuff and I thank you for being willing to do that. You know me on a deeper level than most of the people in my life. I have entrusted you with many secrets that you continue to keep. I love that you have fully embraced me and all of my flaws.

You have encouraged me to be myself. Thank you for always telling me to "be me." It was you who taught me not to be basic and to go against the crowd. You have helped me to be fully confident in who I am. You even laugh at my lame jokes. You have helped me so much in my life and I hope that I have helped you too.

Thank you for always going along with all my crazy plans. I think we have done some pretty stupid things through the years, but that is okay because we will always hold those memories in our hearts. You have also come up with some crazy ideas which have taken me completely out of my comfort zone. Thank you for helping me stretch beyond my little world. You have helped me to be adventurous and to do what is unpopular.

I have enjoyed watching you grow as a person through the years. You have turned into an incredible man. I can not wait to see where this world continues to take you.

Thank you for teaching me how I should expect to be treated. You have not only showed me how a friend should love, but also you have instilled in me the qualities and standards for the man I say "I do" to one day. You are such an amazing person! Please do not ever forget that.

Thank you for all you have done for me. Thank you for being my friend and loving me even when I was all alone and had no friends. Thank you for teasing me and making me laugh. You have brought so much joy to my life over the years. I cannot wait to see what the future of our friendship holds. You have been such a blessing in my life.

You rock,

Jourdyn

Christmas Tree

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
