Growing up, I was the only daughter--and the only daughter with three brothers. I have always gotten along with my mom and I'm very lucky to have her. One day I hope to have a daughter. Here's everything I want her to know:

Dear Future Daughter,

Find your passions and fill your life with those passions. Wear what you want to wear and put makeup on only when you feel like it. Your body is yours so pierce it and tattoo it--but please consider the rest of your life when you do these things. Take care of your body because it's your temple. Eat fruit, go to the gym and please, oh please--never harm your body by smoking or cutting yourself.

You are beautiful and nothing can take that away. If anyone ever tells you that you are not beautiful, they are jealous of you and not someone you need in your life. Your beauty is not only on the outside but also on the inside. Let the fire of your soul glows so bright, people can see it from the outside. Seek knowledge to fuel that fire. I'm sure at some point in your life someone will tell you that you have to act dumb for boys to notice you; it's not true. Always seek to learn more and never stop asking questions. You can do anything a man can do so don't ever let a man tell you otherwise.

Learn to stay your own person as you give your heart to others. Never ever let a boy convince you to do something you don't want to do with your body no matter how much you like him. If he really likes you, he wouldn't ever want you to feel uncomfortable. You're worth everything so don't you ever let anyone treat you like you aren't worth it; however, you are not better than anyone else. Be confident; not arrogant. Learning to love yourself will be the best, and most important, thing you ever do.

Family is important. I know we'll get on your nerves all the time. I'm going to love you beyond all words for the person you are. When you fall down I'll always help you get back up.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
