A Letter To My Little Sister

I could never forget about you little one.

On Sep. 26, 2011 my life changed forever when you came into our family. No longer was I a little brother looking up to older siblings. I was now someone who had to be a role model for you, my little sister.

It upsets me more then anything that I really only had four years of my high school life to watch you grow up everyday, but I know that within that time I honestly tried my best to not just be your older brother, but be your best friend. Many days I would have to babysit you when our parents were at work and it would always be entertaining to say the least.

Even as a five year old you have more energy, ambition, creativity, and emotion than I see from a lot of adults. You always are everywhere, not just in the house but when you are around other people, trying everything and talking to almost anyone around you.

That's why I can also say that I have learned something from you that I also see many adults struggle with and that is love.

No matter what the situation or day that it is you always tell and show how much you love me, your mom, and your dad. While I know you are going to grow up and learn more about the world this is something I hope never changes.

Unfortunately due to a 14 year age gap, I wont be able to always be there for you like I want to, but I want you to always know how much your family loves you and always believes in you. Also, we will all give you the tools and abilities to help you succeed in anything you want to.

No matter what, I am your older brother and as time goes on I won't let you forget that. In some way, some form or fashion, I will always be here for you baby girl.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
