I think we can all agree that 2016 has been an unprecedented year, from the election cycle, to the great losses we've suffered, to all the changes big and small, 2016 has left its mark. 2016 has been quite the year for me as well, and there a few thank yous I need to give.

Thank you to my parents.

Thank you mom for being my rock, for answering the call when I needed you, even if it was two a.m. Thank you for watching shows I suggest, even if they aren't your "thing," and thank you for supporting me through everything, you will never understand how much I appreciate everything you do for me.

Thank you dad for being my biggest cheerleader, for pushing me to do my best, and for always knowing when I needed an extra hug. Thank you for all the home-cooked meals when I came home from college, and for always supporting me when I had a difficult decision to make.

I don't know how I would've survived this past semester, let alone 2016 without you two.

Thank you to (both sets of) my grandparents.

Thank you for your constant love and support. For care packages, and phone calls, for reminding me just how much I am loved. You guys never fail to remind me of how amazing I am, and you don't know how much I need that.

Thank you to my best friend.

Thank you for your constant support of me, for reminding me how much I am loved, for keeping me sane, and for always being down to get Dunkin'. Thank you for always reading my long ass messages, and for always trying your hardest to give me advice. Thank you for supporting my choices in life, and for the constant reminder that I am not defined by the love of a boy. Thank you for understanding my mood swings, and anxiety, and for never getting annoyed by either. You mean the world to me, I love you.

Thank you to my "good vibe tribe."

I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH. Every single one of you has changed me and my life for the better, and I'm so glad you all walked into my life. Thank you for putting up with my indecisiveness, my boy rants, my long winded stories, my gluten allergy, and my sarcastic moody ass. This past semester was hell, but you all also made it some of the best months of my life. I love you all, and I can't wait to see where 2017 brings us.

Thank you to my current roommate.

I have zero clue how you put up with my ass, but I'm so thankful for you. You know exactly when to put me in my place and when to let me freak out. You are always down for a jam session, you listen to my rants, and you always try your best to help me study. You don't mind washing all the dishes (as long as I dry), and you only sometimes complain when I come into the room at an ungodly hour. You're the best roommate a girl could ask for.

Thank you to my favorite professors.

Thank you for making class interesting, for always forcing me to talk, for checking in on me when I didn't seem myself, and for always pushing me to be the best I can be. Thank you for the constructive criticism, and the kind words, for the laughs, the lessons learned (literally) and for creating an atmosphere the made me actually want to attend class. Thank you for never treating me as an inferior, and for restoring my confidence in myself.

Thank you to my Odyssey family.

I adore every single one of you. You all have made a huge impact on me, and I can't help but smile when someone brings up one of your articles, IT MAKES ME SO PROUD!

Thank you to you.

To the person reading this right now, thank you for being you; thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts. I wish you the best for 2017, may your coffee always be made to perfection, may you earn tickets to see your favorite band, may you meet the love of your life, and may your 2017 be the best year!

All the good vibes, and here's to 2017!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
