Dear Good Men,
I know you are rare and precious, so I appreciate you more than words can say. You are truly the definition of what a man should be. You are strong, courageous, kind-hearted, humble and compassionate. Having you in my life has changed me for the better. You have taught me so much about myself and have shown me what true friendship is. So, although a letter or an article or a novel can never be enough, I want to take the time to thank you for some of the things you do for me.
Thank you for holding my hand so I won't fall and for picking me up when I do. Because let's face it ... it happens ... a lot. Thank you for wiping away my tears and reminding me how important I am. Your embraces, love, and kindness always come at the most convenient times. Thank you for making me laugh. Of course, it's not difficult to do, but your effort means the world to me. Thank you for attempting to teach me things about cars and an even bigger thank you for actually fixing my car problems when I can't do it myself. Thank you for watching football with me. It's always more entertaining with you because you are almost as enthusiastic as I am. Whether I need advice on guys, my car or school, thank you for being there for me at all hours of the day. Thank you for praying for me and with me. Thank you for inspiring me every day. Thank you for bringing me closer to Christ in more ways than one. Thank you for coming into my life and for always sticking around. For those of you who have girlfriends or wives, thank you for treating them right and making sure that men treat me right. Most importantly, thank you for loving me even on my worst days.
Although we may not spend a lot of time together, we are studying at different schools or our schedules simply don't match up, I know that I can count on you for anything. The way you treat me gives me hope for humanity as a whole. I pray that every girl has someone like you, because although I'm not your only female friend, you make me feel like the most important and loved girl in the world. Thank you for reminding me of my worth and beauty on days when I forget what it is to be a daughter of Christ. I love and appreciate you more than you'll ever know.
