Dear Future Graduating Me,
I hope that in five months from now, when you're counting down the limited number of days to graduation, that you take some time to treat your self for all of the hard work you put in these past four years. You've worked your butt off to get to where you are and seriously deserve a break.
I am praying to (and begging) God that you land a job after graduation. I hope that you manage to land one before you graduate, really. I hope that in the middle of an incredibly stressful week, you get an email or a phone call asking for you to come in for a interview and that you kill that interview and land that job. Don't let the ones you don't get knock you down; if they don't see how awesome you are, they don't deserve you.
I hope that you know what's next. Since that seems to be the overbearing question coming out of everyone's mouth when you tell them that you're a senior in college. I hope that you have that sense of security when asked, "So what's next?" instead of the tremendous amount of anxiety you were feeling towards the end of the fall semester. And if you still don't know what's next, I hope that you've come to the realization that you aren't always going to know what the next step is. You can't have a plan for everything, and sometimes that's the best plan of all.
Future me, I hope that your last semester of college is everything you dreamed it would be, and that all of the toxic people have left or you left them.
You'll figure things out kid, don't worry too much.
Love,
December 2016 Me
