Sometimes life get's really crazy and busy and we forget to take time to appreciate the little things. We forget to say thank you, and forget to show our appreciation. Instead, it's constantly go, go, go. It's running late for work in the morning, and not sending a good-morning-text or not making a full pot of coffee for your significant other. It's not kissing them goodbye that morning because you're running late, again. Life is busy, but that doesn't mean we should put our loved ones at the bottom of our priorities list. And unfortunately, our significant other usually gets the brunt of all the daily stress we pile onto ourselves.

So, thank you.

Thank you for being supportive and listening to me. Thank you for giving me your opinion, and for talking me through my bad days. Thank you for giving me blunt advice when I need it. Thank you for caring about the little things. Thank you for the sacrifices you make to see me. Thank you for thinking about me while on vacation with your family, and bringing back souvenirs. Thank you for laughing with me when I do something embarrassing. Thank you for cheering me up when I have rough days. Thank you for just holding me when I have one of those days, and that's all I need. Thank you for praying for me. Thank you for letting me control the music in your car. Thank you for rolling the windows up in your car and putting on the AC when I get dressed up. Thank you for driving instead of asking me to drive all the time. Thank you for taking me on dates, and adventures. Thank you for wanting to try new things with me. Thank you for the random bouquet of flowers every once in a while. Thank you for making me feel special. Thank you for having long, deep conversations with me. Thank you for taking care of me when I'm sick, and bringing me cough drops and medicine. Thank you for understanding my love of coffee, and stopping by Starbucks at 10 p.m. because you know I need it. Thank you for asking me how my day was, and actually caring about what I say. Thank you for being excited with me when I'm excited about something. Thank you for genuinely being there for me, through thick or thin. Thank you for pushing me, and keeping me motivated. Thank you for going to the gym with me. Thank you for inspiring me to be a better me. Thank you for encouraging me to try new things. Thank you for believing in me, and telling me day after day that you do. Thank you for helping me to see the positive in every situation. Thank you for being my best friend. Thank you for being y o u.

You've changed my life more than you'll ever know, so thank you. And I appreciate you so, so much.

Sincerely,

Your girlfriend

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
