I'll use the word "leaving" loosely. I'll never actually leave you, only physically. You'll always be my No. 1 ride or die, whatever you wanna call it. In just a short month, I'll be on my way to college, ready to start a new chapter in my life. A new town, a new job/school and yes, new people. Everything different, exciting.

As excited as I am, I won't lie when I say that just the thought of this makes me want to cry buckets, as I don't know how I'll handle the word "goodbye" as I head out that morning. My heart drops as I think about all the memories we've made in the past year, and how I'm gonna have to deal with being away from you for the first time.

Everyone knows that we're a package deal. We're the kind of best friends that people don't even dare to try break apart, cause it won't happen. You've been there for all of my breakups and all of my weakest moments. You've also been there for some of my proudest moments. I've been extremely blessed to have you by my side through everything. Every single boy I've ever dated knew that you would always come first, and I'd never put him over you. And the same goes for all the new friends that I will make this upcoming school year. I may grow super close to them, and may even meet some people who I want in my future wedding party someday. I may also meet the love of my life and want to settle down with a family of my own.

Anything could happen. But you'll always be my soulmate. Please don't ever think that I'll replace you. You're irreplaceable. Nothing will ever change the nights we stayed up till two in the morning laughing, or the days we spent being lazy and all the food we could get our hands on. We could make a reality show based on all of the crazy memories that we've had.

I met you at a time in my life when I was dying for a friend — someone to share everything with. Never did I ever think that it would be you. My entire life changed as your family became mine, and we quickly became inseparable. And now we actually have to separate after not being able to go two days without seeing each other.

If it was up to me, I'd take you and my other best friends all with me and we could just do life together. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. As sad as we will be, life will go on. We'll learn how to deal with a long distance friendship (hello Skype and Snapchat) and college breaks exist for a reason. As the cliche saying goes, the best friendships always pick up right where they left off, no matter how much time spent apart.

Either way, I'm still dreading the morning I wake up and know that my entire life is about to change. The future is an open book. But for right now, we still have a large amount of summer left. Time to fill the days and nights with making these last few weeks count. So let's enjoy every second that we have, and go on crazy random adventures we'll still be talking about in a year. And yes, in case you were wondering, I was crying writing this. I'll be a mess August 19.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
