A Letter to the Dreamers,
Dearest darling, you’ve got your head caught in the clouds, with wistful dreams filling your thoughts. Don’t stop. I beg you to keep thinking up your bold ideas and planning for the future.
I am a dreamer too. I always have been and hope to continue to be. It is often the dreamers who are told that they should stop dreaming, to stop being “too optimistic”. Without the dreamers, there wouldn’t be any innovations, and there wouldn’t be any progress in the world. Keep being creative and making this world a beautiful place to be.
If anyone gets you down, and you need a little inspiration, look to these quotes for some validation:
“A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.”
― John Lennon
“All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake up in the day to find it was vanity, but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.”
― T.E. Lawrence, Seven Pillars of Wisdom: A Triumph
“My own heroes are the dreamers, those men and women who tried to make the world a better place than when they found it, whether in small ways or great ones. Some succeeded, some failed, most had mixed results... but it is the effort that's heroic, as I see it. Win or lose, I admire those who fight the good fight.”
― George R.R. Martin
Dreams aren’t just meant for when the stars are in the sky, they are meant to change the world.
Much love, from the girl swinging on the moon with the stars caught in her hair
