This is about our future.

We’re talking about politics. That’s literally all we’re talking about. But we aren’t talking about who's running and what they believe. We’re talking about the mockery, the evilness, and fighting with one another. This talk has been escalating from the ads, news articles, and Facebook posts. People are asking themselves if they really want to even participate in the upcoming election. Christians are asking themselves if they want to align themselves with a lesser evil, if the lesser evil even exists. Christians, it’s time we ban together and start making some changes.

Most political posts I have seen circling the internet have been full of negative content…and us Christians keep sharing it. Why are we part of the problem? Aren’t we supposed to share God’s love and His message with the world? How can we do that if we’re spreading all sorts of nasty and negative comments? I challenge and urge every Bible-believing Christian to think before they post, share or speak. Would God be happy about you spreading negativity and harsh words? What if what you’re sharing isn’t true?

Another theme circulating is that we shouldn’t’ choose between one of the two evils. Should Christians vote? YES. You are not only voting (or not voting) for the future of the next four years, but the future of the next 40 years. You see, the next president gets to pick the last open seat in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court will then greatly influence laws—including controversial abortion laws—that are put into place. If we want Supreme Court Justices who represent our values, then why wouldn’t you pick a president that most closely represents your values? If you just stand by while the rest of the world makes your decisions for you, how is that going to affect you as a Christian? Is that an example you want to set for your children?

If we as Christians are not educated on political issues, then we can’t properly prepare our children for their future. It’s not just your future you’re voting for, it’s theirs. Our children are our future. And it is up to us to show them how a Christian should act according to what the Bible says. Your voting and the positivity that you could bring to this election could affect not only you but your children and your country. Be informed. Get out there and vote. And most importantly, pray for our country.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
