To My Boyfriend's Mom,

A simple thank you really isn't enough. What am I thanking you for? Everything. I've been dating your son for quite some time now and you have been nothing short of supportive and accepting. You've welcomed me into your life and made me feel like I was a part of your family. That's all I could have ever hoped for.

There are so many horror stories of mothers not liking their son's girlfriends and I'm glad I don't have to worry about that with you. I have come to realize that while dating a guy his mother can either become your best friend or your worst enemy. I'd say we're working towards best friends. You are just as supportive as my own mother and you want the best for me. I feel as if I'm able to tell you anything and that I get valuable advice in return.

I have you to thank for how your son treats me. You raised one hell of a man. I've never been treated with so much respect from a guy in my entire life. Your son makes me feel like a princess and nothing less. Thanks to you, he knows the right way to talk to, touch, and love a girl, and in his eyes that way is the only way. I am so thankful he has a mother as wonderful as you.

There is nothing I enjoy more than having fun adventures and unforgettable memories, and I'm thankful that you let me have all of that with your family. I have so many great memories from the few times that we have spent together and I cherish those memories.

The very first time I knew I was going to meet you, I considered trying to get out of it. I was so nervous and it made me sick. I was scared that you weren't going to like me or that you'd think that I wasn't good enough for your son. Now, anytime I know I'm going to see you, I get excited because you're fun to be around. Just recently, we got to spend Thanksgiving together and we talked a lot. I loved that more than anything.

Your son means so much to me and I couldn't imagine being with anyone else. I can't promise that I won't hurt him because I can't predict the future, but I can promise you that I will try my hardest to make sure he is happy and cherished. I can promise you that I will love him every day and give him the support he needs.

Last but not least, thank you for bringing him into this world and raising him to be the respectful and kind man that he is today. I have you to thank for my happiness. My family loves him and that's easy to tell because I love you just as much and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I have found my best friend and the man of my dreams in your son. So one last thank you for being the greatest mother to the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Love,
Britney

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
