Dear sweet non-believers,

Jesus is a great and mighty God. He was sent by the Father in heaven to bear our sins. He died on the cross and rose on the third day for all of us so that we will be able to conquer our flesh, repent of our sins and be forgiven. This letter is for anyone the gospel has been shared with but still hasn't accepted Jesus into their hearts. His invitation to enter into His glory will never fade away as long as we are all inhabiting this earth. It is uncertain how much time is left on this earth and eternal salvation is very important. Please do not wait and make your decision quickly.

You may ask yourself, why is it so important for me to accept Jesus as my lord and savior? God has more in store for you than what this world can offer you. He can fill all the holes in your heart. That is something that this world can not do. No materialistic thing is able to do what Jesus will do for you. He wants to save us all from the evils of this world and the adversary (the devil) so we can enter into his kingdom and have everlasting life.

The morals and lessons that Jesus will teach you are worth more than what this world can teach you. The world teaches us it's ok for premarital sex, it's ok to be like the Kardashians and men of dishonor. It teaches us that beauty is very important. The Bible teaches us contrary to the world. For example, God says "Favor is deceitful and beauty is vain but a woman that fears the LORD, she shall be praised" Proverbs 31:30. God wants to guide you to be the best man or woman possible. The Bible teaches us to be women and men of grace, forgiving one another, loving and kind. Not only does God desire this for us but He also wants us to be bold, confident, leaders and evangelists bringing other people to the faith and not stumbling blocks. He loves you so much and has never been far from you. He is waiting for you to answer his invitation.

Don't be frightened by this new experience. God will guide you through your journey. You can also find support through a local church but nothing is more powerful than reading the Bible and personal prayer with him. It is a marathon, not a sprint. This will be one of the hardest and best things of your life. I am not going to lie to you. We can not have the grace and mercy of our sweet God without purging sin out of our lives. You will have to sanctify yourself but trust me it is SO worth it. God wants to give you much more. The things of this world will pass away. All of the money, cars, and beauty will pass away but His words never will pass away. Jesus will purify your heart if you allow him to work on it.

Will you accept Jesus into your heart today? Will you allow him to be your lord and savior? He wants to be a guide and teacher to you. Find a Bible and uncover what he has to offer for you. If you seek him you shall find him. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that he rose from the dead you will be saved. He is waiting on you!

Love,

A Fellow Believer

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
