Here are somethings you should know.

Dear Future Husband,

"Here's a few things you need to know if you want to be my one and only all my life". Ok. First things first, if that seemed strange to you at all, then maybe you should reconsider marrying me. If you truly are going to be my husband, then you would understand that the reason why I wrote that is because with me, everything needs a musical reference in my point of view.

So, I probably don't know you, but I constantly think of you. I think of you when I see couples in the cafeteria, as I sit by myself eating a sandwich. I think about how our first dance will be when I see couples dancing with each other on T.V., and I just think of the type of person that you are, and if we've ever met. Could you imagine that? There's a chance that we've met each other, without realizing the impact that we would have on each other. How crazy is that? The fact the we may have exchanged some "Hey how are you's" or maybe you have seen me on campus as I walk to my next class and nearly walk into a pole? (Just a future warning; be prepared for this) Or maybe we haven't even met. Maybe I'll literally walk into you as I'm walking my dog one day, and we both crash to the ground. Or maybe we'll meet in a café, as I'm running late to class, and you stop, and approach me. I have so many questions, and curiosities about you. But, one thing I know for sure is, you must be a pretty amazing person to get me to fall in love with you, and that is one thing I don't wonder or doubt about you whatsoever.

Now, I know that there's a pretty good chance that we haven't met yet, but despite that, there are some things that you need to know about me.

1. Family means everything to me.

I know that everyone has family, and everyone's family has a different impact on every person. My family however, is the reason why I am the person that I am. Yes, we're loud, and we can be crazy at times, but they're the people that were there for me, when it felt like no one else was, and they will always be my top priority in life.

2. My Brother.

One other thing about my family: I have an older autistic brother. He is my best friend, and plays a major role in my life. He is someone who you need to develop a relationship with, or this is not going to work out. My whole life, I've been his girl, he's never had to share me with anyone, besides my family. At first, he may seem to dislike you, or seem to be distant, but trust me he'll come around. Sooner or later, he'll be the one that drives you crazy. Oh, and be prepared for 4 hour long car rides to Sesame Place with him singing, and occasionally screaming in back seat (Hey, I've dealt with it my whole life, you can deal with it also.)

3. I'm crazy.

No I don't mean you're going to have to run for your life when I get mad, but there are sometimes when you'll look at me dancing in the kitchen, and then proceed to trip over the garbage bin while attempting to do a pirouette, yeah, that's what I mean when I say I'm crazy, hopefully you'll join in with me once you get used to it.

4. I'm easy to please.

When it comes to dating, I don't expect fancy dinner date where you pay for a $500 meal we just ate. Heck, I'm fine with going down to the beach and having pizza, and wine, and just talking about our day. You can literally bring me anywhere to do anything and I would appreciate it, and enjoy every moment that we spend together. As long as we are enjoying each other's company, and having a good time that's all that matters to me.

5. I need you to have a great sense of humor.

I've always loved the quote "Laughter is the best form of medicine" and I find it completely true. I've always been attracted to people who can make me laugh. If you can make me crack up lafter a serious moment, or after an argument, then I promise everything will work out perfectly.

6. When I say "I love you" I mean it.

When I fall for someone, I really fall hard. So please make sure that if you truly love me, you'll show it. Not just by saying it, but throught the laughter, the kisses, and after all the arguments we are bound to have (just tickle me, I promise it works), and I promise that I will do the same.

I'm looking forward to meeting you, whether it's tomorrow or 5 years from now. Be prepared for craziness and memories that I will last forever.

See you soon,

Your Future Wife.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
