I want you to know you're valuable. I believe you. Your story matters. Your voice matters.

You are not responsible.

On that note I want people to understand that no means no. IF and WHEN someone says no that is respected and you leave them alone. You do not push, you do not insist, that is clear, and you leave them.

You do not have to talk about it unless you want to. You do not have to report it unless you want to. You have lost so much, and I want you to know you still have a choice in every single thing you do.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
