Chad Veach is a pastor based out of Los Angeles. He isn’t just any normal pastor, in my opinion. He is someone who is enthusiastic about God and life. He is clearly someone who loves encouraging people to live their best life, and that is someone that I strive to be one day.

I didn’t know who Chad Veach was a few months ago, but I am so glad that I found him. I came across Chad Veach on my Instagram explore page, where I saw adorable pictures of his family and saw that he was a pastor. I didn’t really think anything of it, but I realized that he kept coming up on my page. I began following him soon after because I realized that he had written a book.

The book is called "Faith Forward Future."

Three simple words, right?

Well, those words caught my eye, and I ordered it immediately. It’s crazy to say that a book changed my life, but I think this book has come very close (behind Harry Potter). This book changed my entire perspective on my own life, the life that I have been living, and what kind of life I want to live. This book talks about ways that you can change yourself and the way you think in order to find your true plan in life. God’s plan.

This is something that I have always believed in, but after reading this book, it really made me realize how important it is to trust God’s plan for you.

What I related to while reading this book is the examples that Chad wrote that went with certain stories in the Bible. These examples — and his own personal stories that correlated with the Bible — put it into a more modern concept that I could understand. These examples hit close to home.

I started reading the Bible a few months ago. I loved it. I still do, but I found it hard to really figure out what the words were trying to tell me. With Chad’s examples from his own personal life experiences, it made me think of my own similar situations in my life. It made me feel like the book was almost written for me, and to guide me into a more positive lifestyle that I am now striving to live.

This book takes you through a journey in your own mind and gives you advice to take from the book, so you can live your life through the encouraging words from this book.

Since reading this book, I have been really excited about my own purpose in God’s plan. I really believe that everything that happens to me is part of “the plan,” and I learn from everything that I go through.

I encourage all of you to read this book. Although you may think you are living God’s plan — which you might be — I still encourage you all to take a look at Chad Veach’s story. There is amazing advice, kind words, and incredible examples from the Bible that you may really connect with.

If not read the book, then watch Chad Veach’s sermons on YouTube! He has recently started posting sermons weekly for viewers such as myself. These weekly videos really help me personally, and remind me to live my life through God’s plan and to trust in Him.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
