Let's Stop The Violence

Police brutality happens every year and it is one of the biggest problems in the United States and it needs to change.

Police brutality happens every year and it is one of the biggest problems in the United States and it needs to change. It can happen anywhere especially at the store, getting pullover by a cop, etc. They like to treat black people like they're criminals but they're not. Not all police officers are bad but most of them think it's OK to pick on someone who aren't criminals.

Last month, few police officers shot and killed 2 unarmed black men who were Terence Crutcher in Tulsa, OK and Keith Lamont Scott in Charlotte. As you may saw the video on social media, Terence got shot and killed by an officer named Betty Shelby for putting his hands up and walking back towards his car. Betty is now charged with manslaughter.

Keith Lamont Scott was shot and killed by an officer for waving a gun in their direction according to the police. However, his family said he didn't have a gun. He was reading a bible in his car and waiting for his child to come back from school. The video hasn't been shown. But the Charlotte Police

After the death of Scott, the protesters teamed up together four nights in a row and marched through Charlotte . There were signs that said “Stop The Killings”, “Just Release The Tape”, and “Black Lives Matter”. During those nights, the protesters were destroying police cars and starting rioting.

In July at the ESPYS, 4 NBA players LeBron James, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade, and Carmelo Anthony talked about gun violence and how we should team up together. Their message were very powerful and outstanding. If you didn't watch it you can watch it on YouTube.

The world we live in today is getting out of control. We can't live in a world where people are getting racial profiled by police officers based on skin colors, and we have Donald Trump who is running for president and a racist human being.

As for me, I'm sick and tired of seeing black people getting shot and killed by police officers for no reason. We need to be treated equally by others and fix this problem by teaming up together. Whenever I hear a black person getting killed by a police officer on social media or TV, I always get heartbroken. They're like my brothers and sisters and I can’t let my family getting treated like terrible by them. For that being said, all of us need to stand up and fight this problem because police brutality is hurting us today.

A lot of athletes including Colin Kaepernick refuse to stand up for the national anthem before their games because of the police brutality. Colin Kaepernick has been booed by fans for his actions for his actions but I don’t blame him. A lot of people want Kaepernick to leave America for disrespecting the country and the militaries. However, he wasn't disrespecting the country. He was drawing an attention. I support him and if you don't like it shame on you.

We can't live in a world where police officers are racial profiling us as bad guys. We need to help each other and stop the violence starting now.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
