Did you know that 65 percent of animal abuse reported has involved dogs, 18 percent involved cats and 25 percent involved other animals? (HumaneSociety.org)

Did you know that over 115 million animals including mice, rats, dogs, cats, rabbits, monkeys, birds and others are killed in laboratory experiments worldwide for chemical, food and cosmetic testing each year? (DoSomething.org)

Over 115 million.

As a dog owner and lover of all animals, it makes my stomach turn knowing that there are people out there that abuse and harm animals for no reason.

It makes me ashamed of the human race that we test animals to make sure they are safe to use on us regardless of the animals' outcome.

Can we stop and think for a second?

What happens to a human life when they are abused or mistreated in any physical or mental matter?

The abuser faces charges, even jail time for their actions. Because it simply isn't right to put someone in that situation let alone lay hands on someone in an aggressive manner with the intention to harm.

We want punishment for the individuals who hurt us, so why don't we expect the same for those who hurt animals?

It's apparent that animals aren't able to communicate with us in a conversational setting — but they are able to feel pain and love.

How would you feel if you were held captive in a laboratory being experimented on with several dangerous products as a test subject?

You wouldn't like it, would you?

Did you know that more than 50 percent of the fur in the U.S. comes from China, where millions of dogs and cats are often bled to death and skinned alive for their fur? Chinese fur is often mislabeled, so if you wear any fur, you never know whose skin you're in. (DoSomething.org)

My heart is heavy for all of the animals out there that have been exploited and hopelessly killed each and every day.

What are we doing about it?

Nothing.

We have continued to let this happen, day after day, year after year.

If you have any pets at home, stop and think for a moment — would you want them to experience pain, heartbreak and suffering?

I'm guessing your answer is no.

Would you want them to be tested with harsh chemicals, drugs and cosmetics?

I'm guessing your answer is also a no here too.

Although we are unable to converse with our fellow animals, can you imagine the confusion and pain that they feel when they are hopelessly abused and mistreated?

You might think I'm crazy, and maybe I am — but I believe that all animals should be treated with the same respect that we treat the person next to us with.

Animals should have similar if not the same rights that we humans have — no matter what breed it may be.

Do you often question why most breeds of animals are becoming extinct or nonexistent anymore? Because of us.

We are taking the places that they live, we are eliminating their food sources by killing them for ourselves or harming our environment with harsh chemicals.

What are we doing and why are we doing this?

I ask that we all fight together to end the hopelessness and mistreating of all animals around us. I ask that you be consciously aware if you ever see anyone laying hands on an animal or killing them for personal pleasure.

I ask that you look at the products you are purchasing each and everyday. Research these products and make sure that no animals were tested or harmed.

It's a cruel world out there, and when there is so much hate and violence, animals have nothing but love in their hearts when they are treated properly and with the same rights as we treat the entire human race with.

Be loving, as they love you even if you have been cruel to them. They will never stop loving you, so we should never stop loving them.

Adopt. Volunteer. Donate. Anything to help the animals that deserve the best possible care and attention for a happy and healthy life.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
