Alright, it is time we start majoring in BAD B****. Too often we get lost in everyone's drama, trying to fix their problems because, let's face it, that is what empath's do. We feel it is our job to act as some God-like figure and try to heal the world. Well, I have got some news for you. You are not Jesus so stop acting like Jesus. Take off your Jerusalem cruisers, aka your bougie Birkenstocks and give yourself a break.
When we are so absorbed in everyone's issues we tend to become mentally and physically exhausted. Which is no good because this is all about self-care. Did you hear me I said SELF-CARE, SELF meaning YOU! Allow people to enter and exit your life. People come and go for a reason, so let them enter with peace and exit with peace. You will be just fine with or without them! We will never be able to heal anyone else until we heal ourselves. So take a break and focus on you.
This is a time for divine healing. A time to major in BAD B****. This is your new focus becoming the baddest of them all. Not literally bad, please, don't go out and start acting crazy and breaking things. The only thing you should be breaking is the never-ending cycle of negativity. This is all about keeping our mood and intentions in the right place which we cannot accomplish without positivity.
You are the creator of your life. How cool is that? You get to create your own thoughts and choose how you execute them. Once you do this you become the true god or goddess you were always meant to be. You get to choose what your values are and what energy you want to bring to the table. So choose wisely. Choose that one thing, the one that makes your heart bounce up and down, thrilled for what's next. Choose your passion and believe that it can take you wherever you want to go. You were given a talent and it would be foolish of you not to put it to use. I'm sure there are so many people on this beloved Earth who are waiting to see what move you make next to set your city of fire with love and light.
I'm sure you're saying to yourself right now, "okay I get it, but how do I major in BAD B****?" Don't worry you're already one step closer to getting the BAD B**** diploma just by reading this. In order to major in BAD B**** you have to be unapologetically YOU. No saying sorry for things you should not be sorry for. There is no apology necessary for lathering yourself in the love that you deserve.
So this what you have to do. Start falling in love with yourself. Tell your insecurities to kiss your butt. You don't have time for those anymore. Plaster sticky notes over your mirror with kind and empowering words, so you can see them every time you look at the BOSS A** B**** in the mirror. It is you. You are the BOSS A** B****. When you are feeling down I beg not to play your feelings playlist. Instead, play some hype music to get yourself ready for the day. A great song that will get you going is "Truth Hurts" by Lizzo. Blare this jam and make it your anthem. Turn your speaker to max volume and sing like no one is listening. Go on a walk. Being outside it so crucial for us. There is powerful energy within nature that can help keep us calm and collected. Clear your head from all the battles you conquered today.
You need to give yourself credit for all that you do. The big and the small because no one else knows what you had to do to get there except for you. Take pride in your efforts. Remember that it is OK to cancel plans if it means that you need some you time to sit with your thoughts and practice some self-care. And if those friends are upset at you for canceling... oh well, they are not good friends anyway. Your friends should be happy that you're taking care of yourself for the better. Open up a book and fill yourself with BAD B**** wisdom. Do whatever it is that you need every day to keep your mind and body healthy and happy. Last but not least take a deep breath! Check in with yourself constantly. Deep breaths send love notes to our brains. And you, my dear, deserve all the love notes in the world.
Here you are completing the course of BAD B**** and becoming your most authentic self. I am so proud of you. You have earned your degree. And guess what? A degree will never leave you. It is there as a reminder that you are the baddest of them all. Wear your crown with poise. I believe in you. It is time you start believing in yourself!
