The greatest time of year for us adults that have left the collegiate world? HOMECOMING. If you're like me, you are impatiently waiting while the countdown days are getting smaller. Beer, tailgating, games and football?? What more could you ask for?!

It's a time to meet with your college friends, fraternity brothers, sorority sisters, and support those football players that represent what we know as the best college in the world.

It's not just seeing your friends at the tailgate, but let's talk about the college town food and bars you KNOW are awaiting your return. Now my homecoming was this past weekend, and I made sure to get the local food; El Zarape, Cookie Jar, Myles Pizza, Campus Pollyeyes, Ziggys, City Tap and Attic, Tubbys, Shots, and so much more. Special shoutout to B-G-S-U and Bowling Green Community for providing my home away from home! Also, just a side note, who else had Nick Jonas at their University as he went out to the bars after the show in 2015? Where do you think he got the college experience for the new movie GΦΑΤ?! I digressed, I just had to reminisce on that.

Overall, homecoming is a few days to forget that we have adult jobs and adult life that have to begin again on Monday, and for just a few minutes we get to step away from reality. We get to see if we still are the reigning champions of corn hole, beer pong, and flip cup. (Yes don't worry, my college roommate and I are still the reigning beer pong champs!!)

So, my advice? Have the best time of your life at your college homecoming and watch some football! Live it up before you have to go back and "adult" on Monday because this only comes once a year

Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
