You turn the big old 2-0. You're thinking, wow I'm not in my teens anymore, but I'm stuck at this age that is cool but could be cooler just by sticking a 1 after the 2 instead of a 0. However, what we tend to miss is that 20 is the start of a decade where a lot of things are about to change in our lives. So instead of complaining about getting older, get pumped that 20 is far less than 60.

Personally after turning 20, I instantly felt older. Even when I said it, it made me feel much more mature. I was going to be a junior in college, move into a house of my own, live down in Harrisonburg for the summer, finally get my own car, budget money for groceries and utilities, and make sure I was't forgetting anything. Responsibilities were adding up by the hour, and the doubts in my mind were getting a bit more and more pressing as the days rolled on.

I began to realize this was a start of a monumental decade.

Your 20s are when you graduate college and start a career. I'll be finishing up school in 2 years, take some time for travel, but I'll continue the search for the things I'm going to love to do in the years ahead. I will be officially done with "school" forever, and begin to have to pay off my student loans. I'll be in my own place, god knows where, doing most of the same things I'm doing right now, except probably be paying for a lot more. I will be searching for some source of income so I can put food on my table and have money for gas. Overall, we will officially be strutting in the actual real world.

Your 20s are when you're going to have the most free time. I will be done with school, wanting to travel the world before I settle down anywhere. I'll want to backpack across the globe, find the most unique spots, and hopefully come up with an innovative business idea along the way. This is the time to create new experiences and relationships with yourselves and others. It is the time when you may not know what you're doing, but you have to take a step in some direction to see where it takes you. This is the time to try it all, and follow that yellow brick road.

Your 20s are when you will maybe get married and move in with someone you love. Its the time when you're finally recognizing you're growing up and finding a relationship with someone who is just as spontaneous and happy to be with you as you are with them. You'll either go through a few breakups, find the one right away, or it may take you a little longer to really click. But love is unexpected and does crazy things. It makes you think and feel and all in all grow. It will be a hell of a ride.

Your 20s are the decade where you will grow the most, the decade where you will test everything out. You have endless opportunities that people would love to be able to relive. Looking into my 20s I am excited and intrigued for the load of adventure that is yet to come. This is the beginning of an amazing amount of years that lie ahead of us. Think about how lucky we are to even have gotten to this place is our lives. Enjoy every single day of each year, get in trouble, because soon enough we will be looking back and remembering the crazy stories of our 20s that we get to create right now.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
