Stop getting in my face about politics.

Disclaimer: This absolutely will NOT be an article about politics. I will not discuss which candidate is better than who and why, or bash opposing views. Sorry not sorry.

I'm sure that disclaimer just threw you through a loop but hang with me for a second. I don't need to get political in this article because this isn't about politics. This is about how completely crazy people get when they hear someone is voting for someone they don't like.

I understand that you like a certain candidate, and so you want other people to vote for them so they win. I also understand that some people absolutely despise a candidate, and want to convince anyone possible not to vote for them.

Stop it.

Let people vote for who they want. People are very stuck in their ways. If we like someone, then nothing you say to us about them will matter. If you don't support who we want you to, then whatever you're going on and on about is just like white noise.

Why do you have to scream and yell at someone? What makes you think belittling a person about their political ideas will make them suddenly start thinking like you? Why do some people even resort to violence?

This person is thinking differently than I am, so that makes them wrong and stupid. Okay, you can grow up at any time now.

We've heard it all by now: Trump is an idiot and promotes rape, Hillary is a snake and should be in prison. You can throw these things in my face all you want, but just because you think one of these extremely horrible candidates is better than the other gives you no right to get in my face about it.

I have been screamed at that I'm voting for the 'wrong' person because I'm young and my friends are pressuring me. I've been told I'm ruining America. I've heard it all. News flash: the more you yell at me and try to hurt my feelings so I join your dark side only makes me hate you.

Just do everyone a favor and let them vote for who they want. If you find out who someone is voting for and don't agree with them, then just say something like "Oh really? Interesting, I'm voting for..." and leave it at that.

No need for hate. No need for yelling. Just let it go.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
