The amount of things you learn in your 4 years of college is unbelievable, but some of the most important and influential things are learned outside the classroom.

  1. Stop rushing things
  2. Mom’s advice is the best advice
  3. Life isn’t fair, but that doesn't mean you can’t be
  4. Love people for who they are, not who you want them to be
  5. Find things that inspire you
  6. Don’t be afraid of the word no
  7. Step outside your comfort zone, so much beauty is found there
  8. Your past is not your future, so don’t let it control you
  9. PRAY
  10. Be present
  11. The hardest and most important person to love is yourself
  12. Who you surround yourself with is important
  13. Change is good
  14. Pursue your passion
  15. You have the ability to define happiness
  16. You can’t be someone to everyone
  17. Life is not a list of things to check off
  18. Kindness is powerful
  19. Sleep is important

20. Love is a verb, there is a difference between loving someone and loving someone well
