It's the end of the semester blues. This article is meant to keep you motivated, with none other than one of the most recognizable faces in anime.
You've heard of Ash Ketchum, right? Of course you have. He's the main character of Pokemon. I grew up watching Ash since I was eight, and I've learned a lot of life lessons from his misadventures.
1. Know what you want
Ash wants to be the world's greatest Pokemon Master. It's his dream and that's all that's important to him, there's nothing more important to him than Pokemon, not even love.
2. Stay determined, no matter what
In the pilot episode, Ash overslept and almost didn't get a Pokemon. Determined to not leave empty handed, Professor Oak reluctantly gave him a Pikachu. Pikachu did not listen to Ash, and even shocked him the second Ash picked it up. But Ash forged on, working hard to gain Pikachu's trust, eventually becoming best friends with Pikachu forever.
3. It's okay to admit your mistakes
Ash is far from perfect. Make your jokes, laugh at all his ridiculous fails, but Ash knows when he screws up and tries to make it better.
4. Don't forget to take care of yourself
5. Sometimes puns make life a little more bearable. If they don't get you killed
6. Don't be afraid to give your friends a reality check, no matter how much it might hurt
7. Feel free to turn your hat backwards to help you feel more confident
8. Sometimes a hug from your friends is all you need
*sniffs*
You can make it through these last few weeks. Soon you will be on your way to becoming a Pokemon Master. Fight on, my fellow trainers. Peace, love, and Pokemon <3
