The holiday season is finally here! For those who are Christmas nuts, that means balling out on decorations, holiday-flavored lattes, festive clothing, music, and most importantly, holiday movies. As you all tune into ABC Family's 25 Day's of Christmas, some of those silly cartoons that you watch can hold some special lessons. Sometimes those meanings get lost behind the merry tunes and the weird animation, but if you pay close attention or watch them more times than you want to actually admit, you can find the lessons. Some lessons are simple, some are complex, some are small, and some are silly, but at the end of the day, you can learn something from watching these. Scroll through and find out!

1. "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer"

Stay true to yourself no matter what little quirk you have.

2. "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town"

Any act of kindness can make a big difference to someone else’s day.

3. "A Year Without A Santa Claus"

You can’t pick your family; try to comprise every once in a while.

4. "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas"

Christmas is not all about buying things, it’s about that warm fuzzy feeling and coming together with your friends and family.

5. "Charlie Brown Christmas"

Therapy is not cheap, but totally worth it.

6. "Frosty the Snowman"

Civil disobedience is OK if you’re a snowman.

7. "Robbie the Reindeer"

You are what you eat.

8. "Prep and Landing"

Always make an entrance.

9. "Olive the Other Reindeer"

Do not let people tell you who you are.

10. "The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus"

The human world is s**t. Stay in the mythical forest.

11. "The Polar Express"

There’s beauty in simplicity.

12. "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer."

Bumbles bounce.

13. "Nightmare Before Christmas"

A little curiosity never killed anyone.

14. "Mickey's Christmas Carol"

It is OK to indulge yourself.

15. "T'was the Night Before Christmas"

It is OK to not know everything, keep an open mind.

16. "Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too"

D.I.Y. decorations are way better than over-priced decorations at department stores.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter
morethanwheels

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
