The constant rush of social media posts and the media portraying the accounts of the daily occurrences of today's world has many gripped in fear.

The anguish of the hurricanes ripping homes apart and earthquakes absolutely devastating infrastructure left many citizens affected with limited resources available to aid in their recovery efforts. Lives have been lost due to these tragic disasters that have absolutely shaken up history. As we speak, a genocide is ensuing and a population of people are being wiped away.

Mexico: In the month of September, Mexico was shaken by an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.1 that killed about 100 people and left many without shelter and aid--many parts of the region of Oaxaca and Chiapas have suffered great damage and struggle to commence rebuilding their towns. Roughly 12 days later on September 19th, an earthquake with the magnitude of 7.1 shook the land and to this day, the death toll continues to increase. At the moment there are about 366 deaths and 6,000 injured civilians in a surrounding with collapsed buildings and the struggle for resources ensues. Puerto Rico: Two weeks ago, Hurricane Maria hit the island of Puerto Rico, causing mass destruction and depleting resources for the civilians. The death toll due to Hurricane Maria has jumped to 34 and many citizens are currently struggling to provide their families with meals as well as daily essentials. The island is limited in power, transportation, and communication and to this day after the two weeks of the disaster, civilians find themselves without power. Many civilians have lost their homes and are struggling to survive after the aftermath of the hurricane. Please visit the following links and help our Puerto Rican brothers and sisters:

Rohingya Muslims: Currently as we speak, the Rohingya Muslims are facing a genocide--entire towns wiped away as homes are looted and burned and the civilians are murdered without mercy. Men killed off, women raped, and children beheaded--all piled together to be burned to wipe traces of evidence of the horror that is ensues to this day. The situation only increases in severity and the population decreases on a daily basis. Please visit the following links and help our Rohingya brothers and sisters:

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
