No one knew what to expect when Beyonce released her new album. We got a taste of the album when she released "Formation"—then we were kept in wait for almost two months. But I don't think anyone expected what we got; a visual album that consisted of the singer discussing problems with a cheating spouse, speaking of her father, and black woman power. It was a powerful, painful, and important look at our society. Especially how men treat woman, and how the black woman is treated in this day and age.
