As Big Sean says himself, "last night took an L, but tonight I bounce back," which I have come to learn is way easier said than done. You know that feeling when you're so tired from your night out before but your FOMO is also so real? Here are 10 tips to help you bounce back from the L you took last night.

1. Accept the fact that you will take Ls this semester.

There is a 100% chance you will take an L at some point this semester if you haven't already. Hannah Montana says it best that "nobody's perfect" because it's true. We all have our moments and now we call "those moments" Ls.

2. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

As cliche as it sounds, this one is absolutely vital to remember when taking an L. Sure, those nights when you claim "I died" are inevitably going to happen but at the end of the day you always get through them with or without your dignity still intact. Taking an L will make you (and your liver) that much stronger of a person.

3. Taking one more shot is never a good idea.

Have you ever pre-gamed with your friends before going out and one of your friends says "let's take one more?" If you have, then you already know that extra shot is always taken, and you will almost always come to regret it.

4. You will embarrass yourself.

We all like to think that we have our shit together, but in reality that's the number one biggest lie we probably all tell ourselves. Whether you fall, dance, sing, or ramble on and on to your friends, the odds that you will embarrass yourself are incredibly high. You might feel that embarrassment come back on your way to class the next morning but just remember that embarrassing times make for great stories later

5. Own your Ls.

The best way to turn your Ls into a funny story is by embracing it. Instead of people laughing at you, they'll be laughing with you.

6. Rally like a champion.

The most valuable lesson I have learned thus far is how to rally. Whether you puke and rally, nap and rally, or just keep going, rally like you were born to rally.

7. Have no regrets.

There's nothing worse than waking up the next morning having little to no idea what you did the night before, but the best way to overcome your Ls is to have no regrets. YOLO, right?

gossip girl

On the Upper East Side, Blair Waldorf is an icon. She's what every girl aspires to be. She's beautiful, confident, and can handle any obstacle that life throws at her. Sure, she may just be a television character. But for me, she's a role model and theres a lot that can be learned from Queen B.

As frustrating and annoying as it can be, being a girl is really awesome. We are beautiful inside and out. Not a lot of people may see that, but girls have a ton of amazing qualities.

We have unique flirting skills.

Us girls have a significant way to flirt with other people. Even when we say the most random or awkward things, we have a way of making everything sound cute and planned. It’s just a gift; we’re good like that.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:

If you are like me, you have an interesting personality. Basically, you love to be sassy and snarky, gossip, and act like a total bitch (not really), but deep down, you are actually a very genuinely nice person. The idea of actually hurting someone truly makes you feel bad, and you probably have never actually hurt someone’s feelings because your kindness always shines through, even if you do not want it to. Not sure exactly what I would call this type of personality, but if you identify with it, here are some feelings you can undoubtedly relate to.
