Letting You Go

How to say goodbye.

Letting You Go

That night we kissed was the night you promised to be with me

That night was the night you broke a promise to me

And it was also the night you lost me

You may not see how much of a loss that was right now in this moment

But you will when you're wishing that someone would be there for you and love you for you

You may find other girls who can do that

But you'll never find me

You'll never find the exact heart and the exact soul that I have in other girls

You'll never find the exact love I have for God and for people in other girls

You'll never find my exact body on other girls

You'll never find my exact passion and my exact determination in other girls

You'll never find ME in other girls

And that's why you left

Because you knew you weren't ready for me

So no, I don't blame you and I don't hate you

But I do want you to know that you did lose a great thing and that thing was me

And that is a serious loss

I know I'm most definitely not the best woman out there

I also know that there are woman out there who have more to offer than I do

But what I have to offer is pretty special

Because no one can ever be exactly who I am and no one can ever offer exactly what I have to offer

So that's why the day you lost me wasn't a sad day for me

It was a sad day for you because you lost a masterpiece

And you'll never find every single thingI have to offer in another person

So when you're missing me at night, remember you made your bed so now you have to lie in it.....without me

Just a poem about being hurt by someone that you really love and care about!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
