Lots of people suffer from acne time to time, it is a part of growing up, but here are a few tips and tricks I've learned while dealing with acne.

Do Not Touch Your Face

This may seem like common sense, but a lot of us have nervous ticks where we do touch our faces, whether it is with our hands, phones or others touching our faces. This gets dirt and oils clogged up in your pores and can either give you more acne or increase redness.

Find Your Routine

Everyone's Acne is different, so the best thing you can do is try different products or consult a dermatologist to figure out what works best for you

Be Careful With Exfoliates

Some Exfoliates can actually cause more acne because of the size of the beads in the cleanser, so be careful with which one you use.

Use The Right Primer for Your Skin Type

Any of us that wear makeup know that sometimes though it covers your makeup, it can sometimes clog your pores, you need to use one that matches your skin type so it won't irritate your skin. OR do not wear makeup at all, giving your skin a break is super beneficial to your skin

Change Your Pillow Cases Once A Week

Dirt and Oils can end up on places you never think of. Change your pillow cases once a week allows your skin to breath in the place where it is supposed to, without clogging them.

Sometimes the Best Thing You Can Do is Relax

Stress acne is a very big issue with teenagers and sometimes the best thing you can do is just take a deep breath and give yourself a mental health day to really focus on yourself.

Make Sure When You Use A Face Mask It Is One For Your Skin Type

Similar to primers, sometimes face masks can make your skin worse depending on if the formulation is good for your skin type, I recommend Freeman Masks, They are great for all skin types and label which you should use depending on your skin.

You Are Not Alone

When you have Acne you wonder to yourself, why me? The best thing to realize is that everyone goes through it, the severity may be different but at one time or another everyone understands the struggle of acne. Reminding yourself that you are not alone and can do this helps you understand your skin better and to not hyper-focus on it.

Do Not Risk Your Own Health to Get Rid of Your Acne

Some pills or medicines like Accutane are meant to cure acne, but come with severe side effects including...

So if you do decide to go the pill route, please be careful and do your research before considering.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
